The New Yorker's Covers Department.

My work has been published in Milky Magazine, Clog Magazine, Mask Magazine, and I am a Contributing Editor for Newest York—a nonprofit showcasing local artists.



TOON Books


 As TOON's Content Manager, I crafted social media posts, devised launch strategies for new titles, wrote newsletters, and created live content at conferences and expos. Additionally, I composed the press announcement for a summer book club initiative which received coverage in The New York Times.




















Bloomingdale’s

I formulated seasonal campaigns, creating copy for several touch points including print advertisement, mailings, coupons, and store signage.
Accomplishments include:

  • Catalog: I wrote and proofread product specs, headings, table of contents, and branding pages for our biannual fashion catalog. My work on the Wander Woman editorial won a department award.

  • Holiday Ad Campaign: I developed a concept inspired by new features from Apple’s iOS, playing with the culture around SMS language, a.k.a. *emojis*   🐸 

  • Special Projects: For the announcement of a new loyalty program, I pitched names, wrote a branding guide and mission statement, and clarified program benefits on the official invite. I also created the mission statement for an internal committee for female success and mentorship in the workplace.








Moving Image & Content


I developed client strategies for renowned brands such as H&M and Yeezy and compiled all award applications on behalf of clients, winning a a Clio Image Award in 2017 for our work on the Life of Pablo album release.






FLIP

FLIP, a real estate app that facilitates the legal exchange of leases and contracts, needed an editorial strategy. I pitched and crafted branded articles, proposing a series of customer interviews which showcased FLIP's problem-solving across diverse situations.

TENDIGI

As the head of TENDIGI's Strategy Department, I composed all social media assets, A/B tested newsletters, established an editorial calendar, and conducted analytics. In my first month, website visits surged by 400% and our director reported more business inquiries. Below are blog posts which I developed with the help of internal and guest constributors:








Kamaal Kadri Bespoke



I collaborated closely with Kamaal, a Manhattan-based luxury tailor, to revamp his website. In addition to writing all copy, I teamed up with a UI/UX designer to optimize web-flow and crafted alluring scripts for voicemail campaigns.


 



The Waterfront Barge


I engaged with the Waterfront Barge Museum, a Brooklyn nonprofit listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Responding to structural damage from Hurricane Sandy, I offered to spearhead a fundraiser – 'The Grand Neptune Ball,' a big band soirée. As the chief producer, I meticulously crafted and managed the event's online presence, producing a  website, writing compelling web copy and a press release, and orchestrating a strategic marketing campaign across social media, Eventbrite, and local listservs.






Newest York



I organized and executed 'The Bigger Film Festival,' featuring short films by local filmmakers, for Newest York—a nonprofit publisher where I held the position of Contributing Editor. Below is the program writeup I crafted for the event:







At Berlin Cameron, my internship initially centered around marketing and strategy research. However, when the company was given the opportunity to pitch to Vimeo as a potential client, the Head of Strategy entrusted me to create a video for our proposal, which I conceptualized, wrote, shot, and edited.

Live! From Tomorrow


As a co-host on Live! From Tomorrow, a tech comedy show sponsored by Mashable and IBM, I brainstormed ideas and edited scripts for sponsored skits featuring prominent clients such as StrongArm Technologies and Startup Institute. Additionally, I played a pivotal role in developing our website, bringing a blend of humor to our strategic messaging.
